Riverfront Park Seven acres of land along the Willamette River make up Riverfront Park. The park is home to Jefferson Boat Ramp and a pedestrian path leading to the river, and is the location for many of Milwaukie's yearly celebrations. Riverfest This annual celebration is held on Milwaukie's riverfront, near the Jefferson Boat Ramp, on the third weekend in July. The event has evolved from the original Milwaukie Festival Daze in the early 1970’s. Featured activities include dragon boat races, games, a parade down Milwaukie Main Street, and a stunning fireworks display.
